What math should a kindergartner practice?

Counting objects to 20, reading and writing the numbers 0 to 9, adding within 10 with pictures, naming basic shapes, comparing groups with more or less, and continuing simple patterns. That is exactly what these free worksheets cover, with plenty of practice sheets for each skill, and they end with a numbers 1 to 20 chart you can print as a poster.

The counting sheets use ten frames, the five-and-five grid every kindergarten classroom works with, because seeing 7 as a full row of five plus two more is the first step toward real number sense.
