11 Times Table Worksheets
The 11 times table looks like the hardest one on the wall and is one of the easiest in the hand: up to 11 x 9 the answer is the other number written twice, 44, 55, 66. Only the last three lines ask for real work. The sheets run from the printed chart through shuffled facts, missing numbers, exact divisions and arrays to timed tests, with the answer key on page two of every question sheet. Write the other number twice. 11 x 4 is 44, 11 x 7 is 77, and the rule holds up to 11 x 9 = 99. 11 x 10 just hangs a zero on the ten, so the whole table costs two real facts: 11 x 11 = 121 and 11 x 12 = 132.
Why the digits double
11 is ten and one more, so 11 x 4 is four tens and four ones: 44. The array sheets draw it exactly that way, a block of ten rows with one extra row underneath, and the repeated addition pages write it out as 11 + 11 + 11 + 11. The pattern is not a coincidence to memorise but a place-value fact, and a child who sees that can rebuild any line of the table the moment it slips.
Ten of it, then one more of it
The working route: 11 x 7 is 70 and 7, and 11 x 12 is 120 and 12, which is 132. It survives past the doubled digits, where the pretty rule stops, and it is the same route the missing-number sheets run backwards: read 88 as eight tens and eight ones and the factor is standing in both digits.
Past 99 the trick changes hands
To multiply eleven by a two-digit number, split its digits, add them, and set the sum between them: 12 becomes 1 and 2 with a 3 in the middle, 132. Done to 11 itself it gives 1, then 2, then 1: 121. The doubling rule and this one are the same fact about tens and ones in two costumes, and the timed sheets at the bottom of the page ask for both without warning.
Print in this order
The chart and the ladders first, though here they teach themselves quickly. Spend the saved time at the top end: the x7 to x12 sheet, the shuffled drills and the missing numbers, where 110, 121 and 132 stop leaning on the doubled digits. Mixed tables next, because beside the 12s an 11 has to be read rather than assumed, and the timed grids last, once nothing on the shuffled pages needs working out.
Every question sheet carries its key
Answer keys print on page two of every sheet that asks anything, in the same layout with the answers in green. The chart, the strips and the traced table have no key: their answers are the content. The flashcards use page two for mirrored card backs, so printing double-sided puts 132 behind 11 x 12.
