How do you teach the sight word “see”?
Begin with a sentence the child understands and point to “see” while reading. Practice then moves from recognition toward independent writing.
“See” has 3 letters: s-e-e. Read “I see three birds.” and “Can you see the moon?” aloud, then ask the child to point to “see” before tracing or copying it.
If “see” is confused with a neighbour, compare only those two spellings. Naming their first different letter often repairs the mix-up.
